The Goal:

The goal was to come up with a brand that represented the unique connection, dedication and superior quality in the confection of her products since she's the one that does all the cooking from her home.

Her main request was to have a clean and elegant identity.

The Challenge:

The client needed to get the brand of the ground from scratch. She knew she needed guidance at this early stage of her business and trusted us to help her establish her brand name, message and identity. 

The first challenge was to develop a unique name that reflected her and her connection to the products. so after brainstorming several names, Um toque de Lima was the winner. It fits all the requirements and sounds charming and inviting. It refers to Lima, the fruit and Lima, the clients last name and nothing can be more unique in home cooking as the touch of the cook. 

From this point the second challenge was to design a visual identity that communicated homemade cooking, high quality food, simplicity and uniqueness. 

 

     The Result:  A Visual identity that is inviting and elegant.  We developed an entire brand identity system setup, and a whole package of promotional materials to get started on the promotion of her services and products, such as the logo, b

We developed an entire brand identity system setup, and a whole package of promotional materials to get started on the promotion of her services and products, such as the logo, business cards, promotional flyer, and product labels.  

The symbol is rooted in the Lima and Brand name concept that plays visually with the duality of the name and we used a script font for the logo to give it a more personal handwritten touch.

The Focus: The brand focus is homemade cooking and so we reinforced that message with a Slogan: Homemade Delicacies.
